NEDA Seeks New Directors

The Northeastern Economic Developers Association (NEDA) is seeking nominations for members interested in serving on its Board of Directors. NEDA Directors oversee the organization’s activities and help to plan and implement services to members, working closely with the Executive Director and other members.

The responsibilities of a director include:

  • Attending in person, regular board meetings, held 3
  • or 4 times a year throughout the NEDA territory, with one of the meetings held at the annual conference;
  • Actively participating in one or more committees related to NEDA operations and programs;
  • Recruiting new members and sponsors; and
  • Assisting the realizations of NEDA's strategic goalsthrough the implementation of programs and events


NEDA’s strategic goals through the implementation of programs. Serving as a NEDA Director, you will be helping to strengthen the economic development profession throughout the Northeast and will have the opportunity to learn about and contribute to activities across the region. You will also have the opportunity build your network and develop and/or enhance friendships with like-minded professionals in economic development and related fields.
